“Huma Quşu” Fund Presented at the Azerbaijan Medical University
A presentation ceremony of the “Huma Quşu” Educational Support Fund was held at the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU). The event was attended by the university’s faculty members, students, and media representatives.
AMU’s Vice-Rector, Professor Mahir Safarov, spoke about the university’s shared goals with the Fund in the field of education and the projects implemented in this direction. The event continued with the screening of the film “You Will Always Be Missed, Humay,” prepared by Humay’s friends, followed by speeches from the Fund’s Executive Secretary Nigar Babazade, members of the Supervisory Board Saida Abdullayeva and Khumar Huseynova. It was noted that the Fund was established to honour the memory of Humay Guliyeva and to promote important values such as charity, compassion, patriotism, and courage.
Over the course of its activity, the Fund has implemented 9 programmes, supporting the education of more than 50 veterans and students, adhering to principles of transparency and public communication. At the event, a presentation was also made about the participation rules of the upcoming “Humay’s From Dream to Reality – Autumn Call” scholarship competition.
The participants showed great interest in the Fund’s work, asked numerous questions, expressed their support, and shared their desire to be involved in future projects. One of the Fund’s beneficiaries, Xumar Rahmanova, a graduate of Ege University, spoke about the new opportunities the Fund had opened for her and the positive changes it brought to her life. The presentation took place in a warm, interactive atmosphere, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the Fund’s values.
It should be noted that informational presentations about the “Huma Quşu” Fund’s activities and announced competitions are regularly held at the organization’s website and social media pages, as well as at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hungary, the Cultural Centre of the Republic of Austria, World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens in London, and academic institutions including ADA University, Baku Slavic University, UNEC, Khazar University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and others.
