“Huma Quşu” Educational Support Fund Wins Social Project Competition
The "Huma Quşu" Educational Support Fund has been named the winner of Azercell's "Empowering Lives: Women's Support Program." The final stage of the social project competition, aimed at increasing women's participation in public life, has been completed. During the evaluation, priority was given to projects that were sustainable, beneficial to broader social groups, and contributed to promoting digital inclusivity and improving living standards through technological solutions.
Out of more than 30 submitted projects, five that best met the selection criteria advanced to the final stage. Among the four winning projects, unanimously chosen by the jury, was the "Support for Talented Young Women from Low-Income Families in Pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD Degrees in STEM Fields" program by the "Huma Quşu" Educational Support Fund.
The 12,500 AZN grant awarded as part of the competition will be allocated to support girls from low-income families studying in STEM fields at the bachelor's, master's, and PhD levels in Azerbaijan and abroad. Next month, the winners of Humay’s "Girls’ Advancement in STEM" competition will be announced, with five individuals each receiving a 2,500 AZN education scholarship.
