"Huma quşu" is a non-commercial, non-profit, non-governmental organization. The mission of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged yet talented kids to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies in Azerbaijan and abroad, thus helping them to become kind, patriotic, and fulfilled members of society.

The Fund offers number of scholarships for students from low-income families who want to continue their graduate degree in one of the top universities.

Who can apply for the scholarship?

• Citizen of Azerbaijan, residing in Azerbaijan and abroad
• Students, whose age is between 16-35 at the moment of applying
• In good academic standing with a minimum GPA: of 3.2 (out of 4.0 scale or minimum 85 out of 100-point scale).
• Family income: less than 500 AZN per family member per month (you will need to provide financial documents)
• Study or graduate from an Azerbaijani university
• The selection process will consist of the application form and the interview stage.
• Program Timelines: The academic year 2023-2024
• Online Application Deadline: 15 June 2024

• Beside the questionnaire, you will need to send following documents to the HumaGushuFund@gmail.com email address:
  1.The most recent grade marks
  2.Two recommendation letters (in Azerbaijani or English, obtained from Azerbaijani or foreign specialists)
  3.Financial paperwork regarding earnings of the family members or a letter from the employer (salary indicated)
  4.Information about family members
  5.Information regarding the amount needed for the educational expenses (you can find the list on this link)
