Charity Evening “Our Voice Is Your Voice, Humay” Held

On 16 November, the charity evening titled “Our Voice Is Your Voice, Humay” was held at the Opera Studio of the Baku Music Academy, organized by the “Huma Quşu” Educational Support Fund.

The event opened with an exhibition of paintings and continued with a speech by the Fund’s President, Shahla Vazirova. The evening was attended by leaders of state and public institutions, figures of science and culture, veterans, families of martyrs, graduate students, university students, partners of the Fund, and media representatives. Guests were presented with an extensive program showcasing selections of traditional Azerbaijani music.

Funds raised through ticket sales, artwork sales, and donations during the charity event will be directed toward supporting young people from low-income families through the Fund’s nine active educational programs.

At the end of the event, heartfelt gratitude was extended to the Opera Studio of the Baku Music Academy, the i-ticket.az company, and the People’s Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, singer Mansum Ibrahimov, holder of the “Shohrat” and “Sharaf” orders, and his “Karabakh” mugham ensemble—People’s Artist Elchin Hashimov (tar), Mugham TV Competition winners Teyyar Bayramov (Honored Artist), Arzu Aliyeva (Honored Artist), Ayten Maharramli, Ayshen Mehdiyeva, Gunay Imamverdiyeva, Khayal Huseynov, as well as the Mugham instrumental ensemble led by tar musician Rashad Ibrahimov, Honored Artist Nuriye Huseynova, and Tabriz Yusifova (kamancha) for their outstanding performances. Appreciation was also expressed to Shefaqat Mammadova for her skilled hosting and to all participants for their invaluable contribution to the charity evening.

The Fund also extended thanks to the artists who enriched the event with their captivating and colorful artworks: Anar Gambarli, Ayten Gojayeva, Eldar Babazade, Konul Huseynzade, Ilham Enveroglu, Narmina Rasizade, Orkhan Huseynov, Peri Miniature, Roya Hasan, Sakina Jafarli Musa, Zohrab and Shalala Salamzade, Tatyana Guliyeva, and Tora Agabeyova.
