On November 16, the charity evening titled “Our Voice Is Yours, Humay,” organized by the “Huma Quşu” Educational Support Fund, took place at the Opera Studio of the Baku Music Academy. The evening began with an art exhibition, continued with a speech by the Fund’s President, Shahla Vazirova, and concluded with an unforgettable musical programme for the guests.
The musical programme of this meaningful evening was presented by the following distinguished artists:
People’s Artist, recipient of the “Shohrat” and “Sharaf” Orders, Mansum Ibrahimov, together with the Karabakh Mugham Group under his leadership (People’s Artist Elchin Hashimov – tar); winners of mugham competitions — Teyyar Bayramov (Honoured Artist), Arzu Aliyeva (Honoured Artist), Ayten Maharramli, Ayshen Mehdiyeva, Gunay Imamverdiyeva, Khayal Huseynov; the Mugham Instrumental Ensemble led by tar player Rashad Ibrahimov; as well as Honoured Artist Nuriyya Huseynova and Tabriz Yusifov (kaman). Their professionalism and outstanding performances added a special colour to the evening.
The event was hosted by Shafagat Mammadova, who masterfully guided the artistic flow of the evening.
