Winners of Humay’s “Girl’s Advancement in STEM” Scholarship Announced
The winners of Humay’s “Girl’s Advancement in STEM” scholarship, announced by the “Huma Quşu” Educational Support Fund in partnership with AZERCELL for girls from low-income families pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or PhD studies in STEM fields in Azerbaijan or abroad, have been determined.
Although 113 applications were submitted, only 60 met the technical requirements of the competition. Sixteen candidates were invited for interviews.
While it was initially announced that 5 winners would be selected, due to the high level of knowledge, skills, and determination demonstrated by the interviewees—and the fact that their final scores were very close—the Fund’s Board of Directors decided to increase the number of winners to 10. Taking this into account, the “Huma Quşu” Fund matched the 12,500 AZN allocated by AZERCELL, increasing the total fund to 25,000 AZN. Each winner has been awarded a scholarship of 2,500 AZN:
1. Shahana Mammadaliyeva – Baku State University. “Mathematics Education” (graduate)
2. Dinara Rustamzada – Baku Higher Oil School. “Computer Engineering” (1st year)

Additionally, 10 applicants who have lost one or both parents will receive the opportunity to join courses at “Div Academy” free of charge, thanks to the initiative and support of the academy.
We congratulate our winners and wish them continued success in their academic journeys.
