The "Huma Quşu" Educational Support Fund was presented at ASPU.

A presentation ceremony of the "Huma Quşu" Educational Support Fund was held at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

The event was attended by the leadership of the Pedagogical University and the Fund, as well as the plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vilayat Quliyev, along with a group of university professors and students. The "Huma Quşu" Fund was established in memory of Humay Quliyeva, with the goal of upholding values such as kindness, humanitarianism, patriotism, courage, and other important ideals for Humay.

The rector of ASPU, Professor Jafar Jafarov, who hosted the event, spoke about the shared goals of the university and the fund in the fields of education and culture, as well as the projects implemented in these areas. The event continued with the screening of the film "Yerin hər zaman görünəcək, Humay" (Your Place Will Always Be Seen, Humay), prepared by Humay's friends, and a speech by the Fund’s chair, Shahla Vazirova. Ms. Shahla spoke about the fund's activities over the past two years, including a six-program series supporting approximately 30 veterans and students, the application of public communication principles, and the ADA University Scholarship Program (3 grants) announced to improve the educational opportunities of talented young people from disadvantaged families. She also presented information about the fund's scholarships for 2024 and answered relevant questions. The "Small Grants" competition (3 grants) launched by the "Huma Quşu" Fund, and the changes it has made in the life and education of the competition's winner, Chinara Gasımova , were also discussed.

It should be noted that the informational presentations about the competitions announced by the Fund are being conducted on the Fund’s website and social networks, and at academic venues such as the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hungary, the Austrian Cultural Center, ADA University, Baku Slavic University, UNEC, Khazar University, and others.
